We were unable to retrieve a result with the passport details provided.
This can happen for a number of reasons:
1. You entered the details incorrectly
If you have entered the passport details incorrectly, such as the number or date of birth, we will not be able to match the information you provided with the records of the Department of Home Affairs. Please go back and review the details you have submitted carefully.
2. New passport not registered with Home Affairs
If you have obtained a new passport while in Australia but have not updated Home Affairs of this event, your visa will still be linked to your old passport. To update this, you must log into the Department of Home affairs website (https://online.immi.gov.au/lusc/login) and update your passport details there.
After this has been done, you will be able to perform a Right to work entitlement check.
Alternatively, try using your old passport details even if it has expired to obtain a VEVO check.
3. Your passport does not have an electronic visa linked to it
If you have entered Australia prior before 1990 and have not left ever since, you may not have an electronic visa record linked to your passport. You will need to link your visa to your passport with the Department of Home Affairs, on the link below:
